Toys Broken: an Alien RPG scenario

It is typical job for military logistics specialists like you - “struckers” paid to haul cargo and people from one end of the galaxy to another. This wasn’t even supposed to be your gig but a month ago a Hyperdyne Systems vessel had a catastrophic malfunction on its way to decommissioning an old military space station - all hands were lost. You’re now on your way to MSS-Kantor, owned by the Company’s military wing, to shut down the site and return the six man crew safely from their 5 year mission. 

You emerge from cryogenic statis a few hours out from contact with the space station, in orbit around an old mining planet. 

Comms are disrupted by magnetic storms as you approach for docking. You pull alongside, preparing for docking and are horrified to see the main airlock open and a man (with no suit) tumble out into the cold of space.........
